So you’re interested in commissioning me something? Thanks! You’ve come to the right page. Please read this before you do anything else. These are my equivalent of terms and conditions.
I specialise in character design, particularly anthropomorphism and cartoon animals. I can also produce realistic pet portraits too.
I am always open to contacted illustrative work on larger projects, or for charity groups.
I aim to be friendly and collaborative with all of my clients and will happily work to find solutions if any problems are encountered in the process. I will keep on communicating with you whilst working on the commission, so you can be sure of when your piece is undergoing each stage of development.
Terms and Conditions
The price you pay for the commission does not include the postage fee. You will have to pay for this yourself.
I have the right to turn down commissions if I am provided with insufficient references or photographs, but will encourage you to send substantial ones before I have to do this.
I have the right to turn down commissions if I find working with you unmanageably difficult or uncomfortable, which I can do at any stage of development. This will be treated as a cancellation and the amount you will be refunded will depend on where I am in the process.
I withhold the rights to all of my pieces and I will expect you to give me credit if using/posting your commission on social media or any other form of public use.
If I am producing illustrative work for a commercial project, you must tell me this, alongside exactly how my work will be used, before I have started the piece. You must also clearly display my name and a link to my website somewhere on your product/final outcome.
I will only draw non-graphic NSFW. Strictly no fetish art or disturbing themes. I am happy to draw mild gore, LGBTQ+ and mild horror. Do not be offended if I turn down a commission. In these cases, I decide my boundaries.
You may cancel your commission for a full refund if I have not begun sketching. Once I have begun sketching, a refund of 2/4 can be given. You be refunded once I have begun colouring.
For work above £50, I require a refundable deposit of 10% when you first request the commission. I will then ask for you to pay the full amount when I am ready to begin sketching.
Please engage and co-operate with me — this is your commission, after all!
The Process
Before you do anything else, please read the information below so that we can avoid any problems during the process.
Get in contact with me somehow, either by email, Facebook, Instagram; whichever you prefer. Give me any requirements. Tell me roughly what you’re wanting, what medium if you have an idea, what pose you’d like the character in if applicable. If I’ll be working from a photograph, send that through at this point, or reference pictures if I’m drawing an imaginary character; the aim is to decipher exactly what it is I’m doing so I’m fully prepared to start. If your commission is over £50, you’ll need to make the 10% deposit once we’ve decided on a composition. When I’m ready to start the commission (I will let you know when this is) you’ll then need to make a full payment to me. You can do this through PayPal.
Depending on how many commissions I have, the piece may be done fairly quickly or might be added to my queue. When finished, the original piece will be carefully posted (I will need a postal address for this) and a digital copy will be sent to you.
I’ll keep you updated throughout this process and happily answer any questions you might have during it. I will send you pictures of the piece during its development in which I will ask for your opinion on the work, just so that I can check if I am producing the piece up to your expectations.

Pet Portraits
My realistic pet portraits are produced with Faber Castell Polychromos pencil crayons and drawn on Bristol board paper, finished with a tiny amount of white acrylic. They can be either in colour or in black and white. I will need a good-quality picture of your pet to work directly from; the higher the quality, the better!
These can be commissioned in different sizes and mediums.
A4 (£50) - one dog on a blank background. Adding a background to the composition is an extra £15, and another extra £15 to add one more subject (pet, toy, litter of pups etc.).
Small square (£50) - square equivalent to the A4. Unless explicitly objected to, I may choose to make your portrait square depending on the layout of the picture I am working from.
A3 (£100) - one dog on a white background. Add another pet to the composition for £30 and a background for £35.
Big square (£100) - square equivalent to the A3. Unless explicitly objected to, I may choose to make your portrait square depending on the layout of the picture I am working from.
A4 cartoon (£35) - cartoon portrait of your pet with a white background. Add another pet for £10. Add a background for £10.
A3 cartoon (£70) - cartoon portrait of your pet with a white background. Add another pet for £15. Add a background for £25

These are my favourite style to work in! Whether you need a simple character for a project, or you’re wanting an anthropomorphic headshot of one of your characters, I’m open to a lot, but please keep in mind how I work and consider if your character would suit my style.
I will require a decent reference for your character, or a detailed description if you don’t have one but, in this case, please be prepared to allow me artistic liberty!
